ne-of-a-kind is the only way to describe this morris chair. It was designed and built to order for a local customer who needed a comfortable chair to match their 1911 Arts and Crafts home.
The chair was built with white oak and features mortice & tenon joints throughout. It's worth pointing out that there are practically no 90 degree angles anywhere in the chair. The front is slightly wider than the back, making the arms stretch out to the sides, as though it were inviting you to sit and relax a while. The back of the seat is also slightly lower than the front, making it much easier to comply with urges to close your eyes and put your head back.
